Leavers Hoodies Season: The Final Push!

As we reach the tail end of another busy leavers hoodie season, there’s a buzz of excitement—and let’s be honest, a touch of exhaustion—here at FLD Workwear. It’s that time of year when our embroidery machines have been running non-stop, our team has been fuelled by tea, biscuits, and deadlines, and the last few boxes are being sealed, ready to head out the door. Each year, the leavers season brings its own unique energy. We’ve had the pleasure of working with schools across the country to create something truly special for their students – customised, embroidered leavers hoodies that mark the end of a chapter and the start of something new. These garments aren’t just clothing, they’re keepsakes, signed with memories and stitched with pride. With only a few final schools left in production, we’re putting the finishing touches on their orders. It’s a fun, high-energy time – seeing the last few designs come together and knowing we’ve helped add a bit of excitement to the students’ final days. Of course, it’s also a little stressful. There’s a lot of coordination behind the scenes: sizes, colours, nicknames, delivery deadlines, and keeping everything running smoothly. But as we watch those final hoodies roll off the press and get packed up for dispatch, there’s a real sense of satisfaction. We’ve done it again—another successful leavers season nearly wrapped up! To all the schools, students, and parents we’ve worked with this year: thank you. We love being part of your journey. And now… time to breathe, tidy the workshop, and maybe grab another coffee.
